Sin City is now a byword for unparalleled merriment and excitement all over the globe. Although most people associate Las Vegas with gambling and partying, the city also has great shopping. In Las Vegas, you can find everything from high-end department stores to one-of-a-kind boutiques and specialty shops. There are also Elvis weddings (which you don’t need to do to have a good time here), incredible live shows, Michelin-starred restaurants, countless hotel pools, and these. With almost 7 million square feet of retail space, Las Vegas is a shopper’s dream—but where do you even begin? Do not worry; I have you covered. You might not want to venture off the Strip at all over the course of a weekend, as there is so much to do in each hotel. In particular, resorts that feature their own shopping malls, casinos, cabana-lined swimming pools, nightclubs, and dining options. Distances appear greater than they actually are. You might think it would be a piece of cake to travel from one hotel to another, given how massive everything is. When outdoor escalators suddenly appear in the middle of sidewalks, it’s easy to find yourself disoriented in a hotel that wasn’t on your itinerary. You’re doing this on purpose, of course; crossing the street this way is sometimes the only option. The Shops at Grand Canal The stunning Venetian Resort Shops at Caesar’s were designed to evoke the atmosphere of the Italian city of Venice. Singing gondoliers can be found plying the canals and cobblestone streets in their boats. The Grand Canal Shoppes is a must-see while in Sin City. More than 160 shops and restaurants add to the enchantment of this shopping center. The Shops at the Palazzo are an upscale shopping destination that feature boutiques selling luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Burberry alongside more affordable labels such as Banana Republic and unique stores selling candy, accessories, and more. There are over 20 dining options, from quick service to high-end restaurants like Delmonico Steakhouse and Wolfgang Puck. Even if you’re not looking to buy anything, a stroll around the area is still fun thanks to the many performances and the availability of gondola rides. Stores on Miracle Mile The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino offer a wide selection of products and services to hotel guests. With over 200 shops and restaurants, it is undoubtedly one of the city’s finest shopping malls. The size of this area means that you’ll need at least an afternoon to see everything there is to see. There are a lot of the stores I like to shop at, such as Urban Outfitters, Mac Cosmetics, Bath & Body Works, and shops selling sports memorabilia and other interesting items. Some of the best restaurants in the area include the Blondies, Cabo Wabo Cantina, Ocean One Bar and Grille, and Pampas Brazillian Grille. You can have fun while you shop, as there is a wide variety of entertainment options, from stand-up comedy to live music. Show Mall Fashion If you’re looking for high-end brands and designer goods, head to the Fashion Show Mall. This Las Vegas shopping center is one of the best in the country, with more than 250 stores, including upscale department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and more. The Fashion Show Mall is home to a wide variety of restaurants in addition to its many retail establishments. The Capital Grille and Maggiano’s Little Italy sit side by side with fast food joints like Chick-fil-A and Subway. The Prismatica Kaleidoscope Experience and other premium exhibits, as well as the upscale dining options, have made this shopping center famous. Forum at Caesar’s Palace When I’m in Las Vegas, one of my go-to shopping destinations is the Forum Shops. The Shoppes at Caesars Palace Forum have a painted ceiling that makes it look like you’re shopping in the open air, complete with replicas of famous Roman statues and fountains. I’ve even seen a man walk out of a store and light a cigarette as soon as he got there. Adele will be performing weekly on Saturday nights from January through April of 2022. Holy crap, right! The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace are home to over 160 unique stores, including Armani Exchange, Bernini, Brooks Brothers, Coach, Dior, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors, and many more. In addition, the area boasts some superb restaurants. You can choose from a wide variety of restaurants, including Planet Hollywood, True Food Kitchen, and Sushi Roku. However, there is more to do and see in the city than just shop and dine. Now that we’ve found the treasure in the Gold Rush challenge, one of the most popular is the Escape Game, which is on my list of exciting things to do in Las Vegas. Fun can be had by all, and visitors can take advantage of the city’s other major draw — the casino — in the process. Walking Along the LINQ Caesars Entertainment’s LINQ Hotel is connected to the neighboring Hotel Flamingo through the LINQ Promenade, an outdoor shopping and dining area. Smack in the middle of the Strip, it features 35 shops and restaurants like IN-N-Out Burger, Yard House, and the Fish n Chips from the foul-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay. Here is where you’ll find the 550-foot-tall High Roller observation wheel. The view of Las Vegas from the highest point in the world is truly breathtaking. Offer valid only for Nevada residents (20% off). I enjoy myself most on the High Roller. The tour is around 30 minutes long and is filled with breathtaking views. You can also reserve a bar-equipped pod. We also boast the Strip’s only zipline. The LINQ Zipline is an exhilarating way to fly down The Promenade. The Retail Outlets at Crystals, Aria If you have more money than you know what to do with, you should go to The Shops at Crystals. You could also just pass through; if you’re walking down the Strip, you’ll have to use the escalators and footbridges. When our Lip Smacking Foodie Tour stopped by Maestro’s Ocean Club for steak and dessert that night, I was thrilled because I had spent the day photographing the club’s distinctive architecture. Ocean of the Maestro In this region, a single sale per day is more than enough to cover a store’s operating expenses. They are as much a storefront as they are a promotional tool. Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Cartier, Gucci, Fendi, and many other high-end labels are all available here. Central Plaza Sin City Town Square in the heart of the Las Vegas strip is an excellent destination for a family shopping trip. The 26 stores in this shopping center include Apple, H&M, Sephora, and many more well-known brands. You can find high-quality items here without spending a fortune. Town Square features a wide variety of sit-down restaurants, including international favorites like Kabuki Japanese Restaurant and local favorites like California Pizza Kitchen, Brio Italian Grille, and Farmable Kitchen & Spirits. There are multiple options for entertainment, including movie theaters, arcades, a children’s park, a cactus coaster, and more. If you and your loved ones are looking for a wide selection of restaurants and stores, look no further than Town Square. Those guys at Pawn Stars! Since I enjoy watching Pawn Stars on television, I feel obligated to bring up Rick Harrison’s GS Pawn shop. None of these so-called “stars” are particularly talented. But the information contained within is intriguing. Pawn shop owner Rick, his son Corey, and their silly sidekick Chumlee have become local and even national celebrities. It’s a real store, but you won’t likely see Rick and the gang there. It is said that they only make public appearances when cameras are rolling. You should still stop by if you’re in the area. It’s possible to stumble upon a Chumlee bobble head, among other surprises. Candy can be purchased at the Chumlee candy store, and BBQ can be enjoyed at the nearby Rick’s Rollin Smoke, which also offers beer. The Premium Shops at North Las Vegas If you’re in search of a shopping paradise, you’ve found an outlet mall. The Premium Outlets North Las Vegas are where you need to be. This is the perfect shopping center for those who are trying to save money or who are just on a strict budget. Some of the more than 175 stores here include Adidas, Nike, Banana Republic, BOSS Outlet, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Canali, Kate Spade, Jimmy Choo, Tory Burch, Prada, Crocs, and many more. There is a large selection of dining options, from full-service restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory to quick-service spots like Chipotle and Shake Shake, as well as a food court for on-the-go munchies. Container Park in the Heart of Downtown Another great place to shop in the downtown area is the Downtown Container Park, which can be reached via Fremont Street. The mall’s stores, galleries, and eateries are all housed in containers that were previously used for shipping goods. Box 702 at the Downtown Container Park There are more than forty stores in Downtown Container Park, including The Olive Branch, Third and Arrow, and Sassy The Boutique. Local artists’ works are showcased and community events are held at many of these establishments. The souvenir you purchase here may not bear a recognizable brand name, but it will be completely unique. Stop by Bin 702 for some sandwiches, wine, or beer, or the Mob Pie for some pizza after you’ve had your fill of shopping. There is also a daily drum circle at sunset for those who wish to join in. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, head to Downtown Container Park. Sunset In A Galleria Instead of heading to the more adult-oriented stores on the strip, take your family to the family-friendly Galleria at Sunset. The Galleria at Sunset is located 11 miles from the strip and is a great place to shop at all of your favorite stores without having to fight the crowds. American Eagle, Bath & Body Works, Charlotte Russe, Dicks Sporting Goods, Daniels Diamonds, Dillard’s, Express, Famous Footwear, Forever 21, H&M, Hollister, JC Penney (yes!), Kohl’s, Macy’s, Papaya, and many more can all be found at the Galleria At Sunset. Their outdoor food court features a variety of eateries, including Gen Korean BBQ House, Red Robin, and Dairy Queen. In addition, Rodizio Grill features live music from up-and-coming regional acts every Friday night. If you’re looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strip, the Galleria at Sunset is a great option. Although T-shirts sold in Las Vegas souvenir shops are plentiful, they are often ostentatious in design.
